We went to the Bloodbank today, and on the bus, Esther reminded the class to do the homework that Mr Tan set for us. Then, Shimin, Sarah and Subin started talking about the History reflection. After that, they started talking about the Science reflection.
Wahlao. Anyhow, I went to sleep instead, so I wasn't listening to them. -_-

Well, I thought the trip was pretty much a waste of time. Except for the fact that it was related to blood, and she went through what blood is, its function, its components, etc. Though it's not like we never learnt it before.

So after the talk, we were the first group of about 20 to go around the Bloodbank.

And there were people there donating blood. Was a tad bit sick to see the blood flowing into the packet. And wtf, do they have a big needle. But they said you'll be given painkillers before that, so it won't hurt that much. Or rather, actually won't hurt -- just like an ant bite.

Yeah, sure. And if I remember correctly, that's what my family and maid(s) told me. Then they started to chase me around the house. Well, they finally got me, and I got pinned to the ground and couldn't struggle free no matter how hard I tried.
Then, my tooth got plucked out.
Ouch.
It was probably since then (or maybe before, I don't know), I started to be scared of pain. Jeez. -_-
ANYHOW, we walked on and the guide explained about how the blood is difficult to process and pack. Or something. I can't really remember.
Then how the packets are frozen in -80 degrees Celcius. And have to go through some process or whatever to defrost them, too.
They say 55% of the people in the country are eligible, but only 1% donate their blood. And they need 350 units of blood per day.
Wow.
And they say they are short of O-type blood. Aight, O-type is imba. Can help all types lor. :D
Maybe I should donate when I become eligible. -_- But the needle is super scary. They say one of the reasons why people don't want to donate is because of their fear of needles/pain. I wonder if the painkillers really help.
Requirements:
16 - 60 years of age.
At least 45kg.
Generally good health, sufficient haemoglobin level.
Do not take part in high-risk activities, e.g. having same sex partner, multiple sex partners, being an intravenous drug user.

Took MRT back with some 2D people after the trip to Bloodbank. Alighted. Then bought a snack and 43 came. I think I should've known it was about to rain, 'cause the sky was overcast.
But, it wasn't until I alighted that the rain started. It began with drops, then it got heavier, bit by bit. Finally, it just poured. And wtf, an umbrella wasn't of much use. And I was trying to keep it from flying off. -_- Oh well. But I think I'm better off compared to some people without an umbrella. This poor dog got drenched together with its two owners. -_-
So much for wanting to enjoy my snack as I walked. (But I think I'd beware from now on, ever since that horrific attack of the crows.)
I was probably about 5 minutes away from home, and it was beginning to stop raining. Wtf.
But anyway, when I reached home, it started to rain a bit again. But not as heavy as before.
Well. I was drenched, but somehow, I kind of liked being in the rain.
I find myself trying to wash away the pain.
